Description
The Callwehre Remote Site module is a TCP/IP Client application that enables the collection of Call Data Records “CDR” from networked phone systems nodes running in the TCP/IP server mode. The Remote Site Module can be configured in the following two different ways:
Collection from Like Phone Systems
Call Record Data “CDR” from each node is processed in the same database which requires unique station numbering for each node. CDR is downloaded and processed as Callwhere TCP/IP client makes a socket connection with each node. This application also requires that the PBX SMDR can be programmed to run in the TCP/IP server mode, and the PBX should also have the ability to buffer data.
Collection from Different Phone Systems
Because CDR format varies by phone system it is necessary to process the CDR to separate databases. CDR is downloaded and processed as Callwhere TCP/IP client makes a socket connection with each node. This application also requires that the PBX SMDR can be programmed to run in the TCP/IP server mode, and the PBX should also have the ability to buffer CDR.
